SUPERSTITION ‘COACHES’ KOTOKO AND ADUANA

Aduana Stars, Superstition takes over Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko game

An interesting spectacle occurred on Wednesday, when Asante Kotoko SC and Aduana Stars FC both fielded ten (10) players in the first half of their Ghana Premiership clash in Dormaa.

Rumors circulating in the media indicate that both Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko had been hinted by spiritualists after they went for consultations that the results won’t go in their favor if they start with eleven men on the field, thus resulting in both teams fielding ten players each for the first half of the game.

A lot of football enthusiasts have expressed their disgust on various social media platforms describing what happened at the Dormaa stadium as barbaric, disgusting and unprofessional.

The game, which ultimately ended 1-0 in favour of home side Aduana, was undoubtedly the top-liner of the matchday 11 round of games.

In the end, Samuel Bioh’s 94th-minute effort dramatically secured all three points for the hosts at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
